Unknown people stole a truck with 12 tons of chocolate bars in Europe
Unknown people hijacked a truck that was carrying more than 12 tons of KitKat chocolate bars. This was reported on March 28 by the newspaper Le Monde, citing a statement from Nestle (which owns the KitKat brand).
"We've always encouraged people to take a break from KitKat. But it seems that the thieves took this message too literally and stole more than 12 tons of our chocolate," said a Nestle representative in an interview with France Presse (AFP).
The incident occurred last week. It is noted that the truck was carrying a batch of bars from a factory in Italy to a distribution center in Poland. The car was stolen during transportation. The company clarified that "the vehicle and its contents have not yet been found." A Nestle representative added that due to the incident, there may be problems with the availability of bars in the store in central Europe before Easter.
On March 17, CoinDesk reported that in the UK, a woman stole more than 2.3 thousand bitcoins worth about $172 million from her husband. Ping Fai Yuen claims that his ex-wife Fung Yung Lee gained access to his hardware crypto wallet using surveillance cameras in the house.
