The Russian national football team beat the Nicaraguan team in a friendly match that took place in Krasnodar on Monday, March 23. The match at the Krasnodar stadium in the presence of 31,625 spectators ended with a score of 3:1.

The score in the match was opened already in the 3rd minute, when the goal was scored by midfielder Lechi Sadulaev. In the 16th minute, the national team of Nicaragua managed to win back thanks to an accurate shot from Oscar Acevedo. However, in the added time to the first half, at 45+3 minutes, Konstantin Tyukavin again put the Russians ahead by converting a penalty. Alexander Golovin set the final score in the 83rd minute.

At the beginning of the second half, the nature of the game changed due to the removal of the guests. In the 47th minute, the defender of the national team of Nicaragua Christian Reyes received a direct red card for a foul of the last hope, after which the Latin American team remained in the minority until the end of the meeting.
