A piece of a drone fell on an apartment building in the Tver region.

A fragment of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) fell on an apartment building in the Tver region as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on March 28 by the governor of the region, Vitaly Korolev.

"As a result of reflecting the action of the UAV on the night of March 28 in the city of Konakovo, a fragment of the drone fell on the site of a private apartment building," the governor quotes the Telegram channel of the press service of the government of the Tver region.

It is specified that a fire started as a result of the fall, the fire was quickly extinguished. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties.

On March 27, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense systems destroyed 52 Ukrainian drones from 20:00 to 23:00 Moscow time over the territory of Russia. According to the agency, the drones were destroyed over the territories of Bryansk, Kursk, Belgorod, Smolensk, Voronezh and Rostov regions, as well as over the Moscow region and the Republic of Crimea.
