Seven more airports in Russia have introduced temporary flight restrictions.

Temporary restrictions on flights were introduced at the airports of Orsk, Bugulma, Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Orenburg, Samara and Ufa. This was announced on March 28 by the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency.

"Airports in Orsk <...> Bugulma, Kazan, Nizhnekamsk (Begishevo), Orenburg, Samara (Kurumoch). Temporary restrictions have been imposed on the reception and release of aircraft," the message says in the MAX messenger.

It clarifies that restrictions are necessary to ensure the safety of air transportation.

Similar measures were introduced on that day at Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg. Earlier, temporary restrictions were imposed at four more airports in Russia.
