This was announced on February 28 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

During aerial reconnaissance, UAV operators noticed a camouflaged take-off point and the basing of enemy drones on one of their key sections of the line of contact. It is reported that after that, the intelligence data was promptly transferred to the artillery command post.

After receiving the coordinates, the howitzer crew quickly deployed the gun and struck with high-explosive shells. As a result of the fire, the enemy object was eliminated along with its personnel and ammunition.

"This gun, it is considered a sniper rifle in artillery, as we call it. An unpretentious, excellent combat unit that hits exactly on target...> The crew that works, having completed the task, immediately goes to a safe place," said the commander of the control platoon with the call sign Kobra.

It is noted that the artillery strike was corrected with the help of reconnaissance drone operators who controlled the fire from the air in real time.

The Ministry of Defense reported that the elimination of the facility is strategically important: as a result of the work of the gunners, the activity of Ukrainian drones in the area has significantly decreased. In addition, the Ukrainian militants have lost the opportunity to conduct aerial reconnaissance and strike.
