Pushkov pointed to the shift in U.S. attention away from Ukraine

The conflict in Ukraine has not been a priority for the United States and Europe for six months now. This was announced on March 27 by Senator of the Federation Council Alexei Pushkov.

"Ukraine has ceased to be a priority for the United States for six months now, and now Europe has new energy concerns and problems. <...> Ukraine's priority is decreasing in many European countries," the Telegram channel said.

Pushkov added that Ukraine's priority is artificially maintained at the expense of some EU states that are negatively opposed to the Russian Federation.

Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations (UN) Vasily Nebenzia said on March 23 that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky was shocked by the shift in the attention of the world community from his country to the Middle East. The British newspaper Daily Express reported on March 21 that Russia would be in a winning position if the US military operation against Iran provoked an arms shortage that would affect Ukraine.
