The US State Department is ready to pay up to $10 million for providing information about the hacking of the mail of the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Cash Patel. This was announced on March 27 by the press service of the Award for Justice program.

"If you have information about Iranian cybercriminals such as Parsian Afzar, Ryan Borna, Khandala, or related groups or individuals, please contact us by providing any information," a message on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

Patel reported on March 20 that the Signal messenger was allegedly hacked by Russian hackers. He added that hacking the messenger will allow hackers to have access to thousands of accounts. At the same time, Patel did not provide any evidence in favor of hacking by Russian hackers.
