Over the past day, two residents of the Tula region reported fraud. The total damage exceeded 3.1 million rubles.

In Tula, scammers contacted a 78-year-old pensioner by phone, posing as law enforcement officers and financial structures. They convinced the woman that she allegedly needed to declare the funds "to prevent their blocking." The woman handed over more than 3 million rubles to the courier. This is reported by TSN24.

The second victim was a 61-year-old man. He was also tricked on the phone.

Checks are carried out on the facts of the appeals, and the issue of initiating criminal cases is being resolved.

In the Sakhalin region, the couple lost more than 2.5 million rubles due to fraudsters. The scammers convinced the victims to transfer savings and credit funds to "safe" accounts.
