Sales of the Deepal G318 hybrid crossover launched in Russia
Changan has announced the launch of sales of the Deepal G318 hybrid crossover in Russia. The novelty is available in two trim levels priced from 5.65 million and 6 million rubles. This is stated in the message of the press service of the Chinese brand, which was received by Izvestia on March 27.
The Deepal G318 is manufactured at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad, and due to the localization of production, the model is subject to a state subsidy of up to 925 thousand rubles when purchased on credit.
The Deepal G318 is 5,010 mm long and has a wheelbase of 2,880 mm. The hybrid power plant includes two traction electric motors and a gasoline engine that acts as a generator to recharge the battery. The total power reaches 439 hp, acceleration to 100 km / h takes 6.3 seconds. The claimed power reserve exceeds 1 thousand km.
The crossover is equipped with a rear differential lock and a tank turn function. There are six modes of operation of the driving electronics. The car is equipped with a height-adjustable air suspension and ZF adaptive shock absorbers with adjustable stiffness: the systems analyze the road surface using cameras and automatically adjust the damping. The ground clearance is 240 mm.
The chairs are equipped with ventilation and massage function, double glazing of the cabin and 16 speakers are responsible for acoustic comfort. The list of optional equipment also includes a full winter package, a panoramic roof with a sunroof, 18- or 20-inch wheels, additional roof lights, and atmospheric interior lighting.
The day before, it was reported that the Russo-Balt automobile brand, which is being revived in Perm, has begun full-fledged sea trials of the new F200 van. Russo-Balt is going to be certified and receive Vehicle Type Approval (OTT), which will allow launching mass sales of the van in Russia by the end of 2026.
