Auctions for the sale of assets of Mikhail Yurevich, the former governor of the Chelyabinsk Region, were declared invalid because no one had applied for them. The relevant information was published on the GIS Auctions portal on March 27.

It is specified that we are talking about the companies "Prospect", "Rodnik" and GC "Assistance". The total value of assets is 12 billion rubles. So, "Rodnik" was estimated at 8.2 billion rubles, "Prosvet" — 3.8 billion rubles, and "Assistance" — 6.2 million rubles.

The auction was declared invalid with the wording "due to the lack of bids."

The official representative of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Svetlana Petrenko, announced on March 17 that the criminal case against Yurevich and his subordinate had been sent to court. The investigation revealed that from May 2010 to January 2014, Yurevich received a bribe in the form of money in the amount of more than 3.2 billion rubles from representatives of the road industry in Moscow and the Chelyabinsk region.

In April last year, it was reported that bailiffs had seized the accounts and assets of relatives of ex-MP Vadim Belousov and Yurevich to secure the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office in the case of the recovery of the property of the joint-stock company "Makfa".

Yurevich escaped from law enforcement and is on the international wanted list. In 2017, the court sanctioned his arrest in absentia.
