Former municipal deputy Minkail Saidov was killed in Shakhunya, Nizhny Novgorod region. This was announced on March 27 by a source of Izvestia.

The man was 60 years old. According to the source, the body was found in the house of the ex-deputy with a gunshot wound. The killer was shooting with a hunting rifle. The Izvestia source added that the criminal had fled the scene of the murder and was being sought.

The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia confirms the fact of gunshot wounds on Saidov's body. According to a statement on the agency's website, forensic investigators are working at the crime scene. Law enforcement officers are interrogating witnesses.

Two years before this crime, Saidov's son, Ali, was stabbed to death in a Shakhunya cafe. The suspect in his death, Eduard Shamiev, was put on the wanted list, but he is still at large. According to the source, the investigation is considering a version of the connection between the two murders.

Before being elected to the municipal assembly, the deceased Minkail Saidov worked in the agricultural sector and owned an enterprise.

A month later, Bederin was shot dead in the entrance of his house. In addition, in 1996, Chekin acted as a customer for the murder of one of his acquaintances, and in 1998 he organized the murder of a resident of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.
