- The Belarusian Foreign Ministry pointed to the friendly spirit of the talks between Lukashenko and Kim Jong-un.
Negotiations between the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and the leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong—un was the "friendliest" - there was "chemistry" between the heads of state. This was announced by Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov on Friday, March 27.
"The spirit of the negotiations is the most sincere, the most friendly. The basis of this is the chemistry, as they say, that immediately arose between the leaders of the two countries," the BelTA news agency quoted him as saying.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus said that Lukashenko and Kim Jong-un quickly found a common language and during conversations, it was felt that they fully understood each other.
Speaking about this, Ryzhenkov added that the members of the Minsk delegation did not expect their visit to Pyongyang to be so "full and deep." The host country, as he emphasized, organized all the events solemnly — the guests were surrounded not only by high-ranking officials and orchestras, but also by hundreds of ordinary citizens.
