Families with children in the Murmansk region will receive a new payment

In the Murmansk region, a new payment will be introduced for families with children. Russian citizens who permanently reside in the country can count on it.

Working parents with two or more children under the age of 18 or under the age of 23, if the children study full-time, apply for social assistance. Parents must officially work and pay personal income tax. At the same time, the average per capita income of a family should not exceed 1.5 minimum subsistence level per capita in the region.

According to the Bi-port news agency, with reference to the regional social fund, in order to find out the amount of the payment, it is necessary to calculate personal income tax at a rate of 13% from human income for 2025 and deduct tax at a reduced rate from income of 6%. Thus, the family can expect to receive a payment of 7% of the annual income of each parent.

Residents of the Murmansk region will be able to submit documents from June 1 to October 1, 2026 at Public Services, an MFC or a social fund.

Earlier it was reported that the cost of living in the Murmansk region is 26,406 rubles. This was announced by the Ministry of Labor.
