The authorities of St. Petersburg have approved a program for the modernization of primary health care. It is designed for the period from 2026 to 2030.
Over five years, more than 13.3 billion rubles will be allocated for these purposes. 108 healthcare facilities will have to be repaired and 242 units of high-tech equipment will have to be purchased. This year, 33 facilities will be repaired and 14 pieces of equipment will be purchased, Smolny said in a statement.
The program has been implemented in the Northern Capital since 2021 as part of the national Healthcare project. Funds for it are allocated from the city and federal budgets.
The administration clarified that the activities that were planned for 2021-2025 had been completed in full. 160 outpatient facilities have been put in order. Major repairs have been carried out with the replacement of windows, doors, and utilities.
