The military of the 5th OKW of the 51st Army, together with the Popular Front, continue to evacuate civilians in Dimitrov on March 27. An evacuated resident of the city, Irina, told Izvestia that the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants were in residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure facilities.

"On the one hand, there were drone operators [of the Armed Forces of Ukraine], there were gunners sitting in the basement. The children did not come out of the basement at all," Irina said.

In particular, a family with three children was evacuated, the youngest child was 1 year and 1 month old. His mother, Ekaterina, was taken from the city to Slavyansk during childbirth. However, the woman returned back to Dimitrov, despite the Ukrainian law providing for the forced evacuation of families with children from the battle zone. All members of this family were successfully evacuated to the rear city in the DPR.

Ekaterina told how the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants forcibly took children from Dimitrov.

"From the very beginning, we arrived in Dimitrov, I was still pregnant. I walked freely until the sixth month of pregnancy, but then I didn't. When I gave birth, they took me to Slavyansk, and my friends brought me back. [Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters] came and forcibly took the children away. Then the women returned the children on mining buses, brought them back, and hid them. When we arrived, our guys (the military of the Russian Armed Forces. — Editor's note) we were in Grodovka, it's nearby," says Ekaterina.

A soldier of the 5th OKW of the 51st army with the call sign Berkut said that about 950 people had been evacuated from Dimitrov for almost four months.

"Since December 4, we have been evacuating civilians from the city of Dimitrov. As of today, 938 people have been evacuated. Three children were evacuated today, the youngest is 1 year and 1 month old. Two weeks ago, a woman was shot in the right lung, and she was receiving medical attention. A man on (APU ammunition. — Editor's note) "Petal" lost his leg. Well, in general, the situation is extremely difficult," he said.

Berkut added that currently there are 2-2.5 thousand residents in Dimitrov.

Alexander, a local resident evacuated from the city, told Izvestia in January about the looting of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Dimitrov. According to him, the Ukrainian military took away chickens and gasoline from the population, as well as evicted civilians.
