WSJ revealed the cost of restoring US equipment after Iran strikes
During the war between the United States and Israel against Iran, the United States lost billions of dollars worth of military equipment. This was reported on March 26 by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), citing calculations by former Pentagon Chief Financial Controller Elaine McCusker.
"The damage from the fighting and its compensation for the first three weeks of the war are likely to cost about $1.4–2.9 billion. A higher estimate includes damage to the Qatari radar located at the American air base in the country," McCusker's calculations are quoted in the material.
It is noted that the bulk of the damage was caused by Iranian ballistic missiles and drones.
The New York Times reported on March 25 that the United States had sent a 15-point peace plan through Pakistan to Iran. The proposed plan covers aspects related to the Islamic Republic's missile and nuclear programs, as well as freedom of navigation.
In turn, Tehran has sent an official response to the conflict settlement plan proposed by Washington and is awaiting the reaction of the White House. It was noted that Iran demands that the war not be repeated, as well as the payment of reparations and guarantees of peace.
