Working Russians can receive no more than 10 pension points per year. This was announced on March 27 by Marina Solodovnikova, an expert at the Presidential Academy.

"Currently, you can get no more than 10 pension points in one calendar year. This indicator is established by law and is valid in all periods of accrual of insurance premiums. Even if the income is above a certain level, the number of points above this limit no longer increases," the expert explained in an interview with TASS.

She specified that the income limit for calculating pension points in 2026 means a sum of about 248 thousand rubles before taxes. The funds that a working citizen receives in excess of this amount are not taken into account in the formation of pension points.

Alexander Safonov, a professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, said on March 26 that the insurance pension can reach 67 thousand rubles, for this it is necessary to gain 400 pension points. According to the expert, such a pension is possible only in the northern regions. In addition, Safonov added that test pilots can receive more than 100,000 rubles of a social pension for their service with an experience of 25 years for men and 20 years for women.
