The United States is considering sending up to 10,000 ground troops to the Middle East. This was reported on March 26 by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), citing sources in the US Department of War.

"The Pentagon is considering sending up to 10,000 additional ground troops to the Middle East to provide President [US Donald] Trump with more military capabilities," the publication says.
