In the USA, the possibility of holding friendly matches between the American and Russian national hockey and football teams is being considered. This was announced on March 26 by Olympic speed skating champion, State Duma deputy Svetlana Zhurova.

"We talked about the fact that there was an offer to hold a hockey match. We also raised this issue, and maybe golf, because Trump plays golf himself. These proposals were also made," Zhurova told RIA Novosti after negotiations between a delegation of deputies from the State Duma and members of the US Congress.

Zhurova added that the topic of friendly matches will be discussed at the federation level. Parliamentarians, for their part, are ready to support such initiatives.
