Preparations for repair work have started on the Nevsky Bridge in Pskov.
Preparations for road surface repairs have begun on the Alexander Nevsky Bridge across the Velikaya River in Pskov. This was announced by the head of the city Boris Yelkin.
"A large-scale renovation is waiting for us in the near future. Preparatory work has begun today. The contractor has begun dismantling the dividing line," the Pskov News Feed quotes Yelkin as saying.
The work will take place on a 387 m long section. Earlier it was reported that they are scheduled to be completed by February 1, 2027.
On March 16, it was reported that roads in the Pskov region had begun to be restored to normal condition after the winter period. The total length of roads in the district exceeds 1300 km, of which more than 860 km are sandy-gravel roads. Most of them now require good drying due to waterlogging of the soil.
