The construction of the pillars was completed on the overpass near the village of Lukino in Serpukhov.

In Serpukhov in the Moscow region, builders have completed the construction of the capital pillars of the overpass over the railway tracks near the village of Lukino. The regional Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure announced this on Thursday, March 26.

Construction is underway on the 95th km of the Starosimferopolskoye highway, on the site of an old bridge structure. The contractor dismantled the previous structure and built capital supports for the new overpass.

According to the head of the Ministry of Transport, Marat Sibatulin, 38 bridge builders and eight pieces of equipment are involved at the facility. Now they are building a dirt wall behind the third pillar and assembling the metal structures of the future structure.

According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, the overpass connects the villages of Lukino, Vasilyevskoye and Syanovo-1, provides access to Simferopol and Starosimferopolskoye highways in the direction of Serpukhov. It is planned to start working traffic on the bridge structure in September 2026.
