Two people were killed and one injured in a truck accident near Lipetsk.

In the Lipetsk region, as a result of a collision between a Gazelle and two trucks, two people were killed and one injured. This is reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate and the UGPSS.

The accident occurred on Thursday afternoon, March 26, on the 267th km of the federal highway R-119 Orel – Tambov. In the area of the village of Tovovo-Nikolskoye, a Scania truck, a Gazelle and a KamAZ truck carrying sand collided.

As a result of the accident, the 21-year-old Gazelle driver and the KAMAZ driver, whose identity is being established, died on the spot. The 34-year-old Scania driver was taken to the hospital with injuries, GOROD48 writes.

According to preliminary data, the cause of the accident was the departure of one of the cars into the oncoming lane. The circumstances of the incident are being established.

On the evening of March 23, at the entrance to Lipetsk, a VAZ-2114 car collided with a SITRAK truck. The 22-year-old driver of the car and his two passengers were taken out of the car by rescuers, the motorist died in an ambulance.
