Iran's representatives are "begging" the United States to make a deal with them. This was announced on March 26 by US President Donald Trump.

"They're begging for a deal. Yes, they're back in business. And anyone who has seen what is happening there will understand why they want to make a deal," the American leader said.

The New York Times reported on March 25 that the United States had sent a 15-point peace plan through Pakistan to Iran. It clarifies that the proposed plan covers aspects related to the missile and nuclear programs of the Islamic Republic, as well as freedom of navigation.
