IOC bans transgender people from participating in women's competitions
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has imposed a ban on the participation of transgender people (the LGBT movement is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and is prohibited) in women's competitions. This is stated on March 26 in the new IOC policy on the protection of the women's category in Olympic sports.
"For all disciplines of the IOC sports program of events, including the Olympic Games, as well as for individual and team sports, the right to participate in any women's category is limited to biological women," the document says on the organization's website.
