Iranian negotiators are allegedly asking the United States to conclude an agreement, despite public statements that they are only studying the proposal. This was announced on March 26 by the American leader Donald Trump.

"The Iranian negotiators are very different <...> "begging" us to make a deal, which they should have done, since they were destroyed militarily," he wrote on the Truth Social network.

The head of state called the behavior of Tehran's representatives "strange" and stressed the significant discrepancy between their official position and actual actions. The US president said that the Islamic Republic has no chance of restoring its former military positions.

Trump warned the Iranian leadership against delaying the process, noting that if Tehran does not take the proposal seriously in the near future, the situation will reach a point of no return.

The head of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abbas Araqchi, said on March 16 that the Islamic Republic of Iran does not intend to ask the United States for a temporary cease-fire or truce, it plans to fight to the end. He also stated that his country is ready to continue fighting until Trump realizes the fallacy of the aggression being committed.
