A new rise in water was recorded on the rivers of the Kurgan region
In the Kurgan region, the Tobol, Iset and Miass rivers experienced a rise in water levels. In the Tobol River near the village of Zverinogolovskoye, it grew by 2 cm per day. The maximum elevation relative to other rivers is at the Miass River in Kagrapole, +13 cm.
These are the data from the Kurgan Center for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring.
IA " <url>" notes that the water level in Tobol remained the same for a day, 55 cm above the zero of the post. The characteristic of water bodies is "water on ice". There are rims on the Iset and Uy rivers. This is the name of a small body of water between the shore and the edge of the ice.
Local authorities do not rule out that the water level in Tobol will rise to 8 m at the peak of the flood. This, in particular, was discussed at a meeting of the Kurgan administration with representatives of horticulture. An updated flood forecast will be available by mid-April.
Earlier it was reported that in at least 16 Russian regions, the level of spring flooding will be higher than normal due to significant snow cover, according to data from the Russian Hydrometeorological Service. At another 20, there is a possibility of exceeding the norm, but not so obvious. Significant flooding is possible in the Central, Volga, Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts.
