The teenager who attacked the school in Chelyabinsk was calm and quiet and never got into conflicts. This was reported to Izvestia on March 26 by janitor Elena Boburova, who is familiar with the boy.

"When I went to school, I always said hello, and when I came back, I was sitting on a bench with a phone or just drinking water. I've never seen him with my friends. Quiet, calm, never got into conflicts," she said.

The schoolboy's neighbors described the boy's family as prosperous. They called their parents well-mannered and non-drinkers.

On the same day, the press service of the regional government informed about the attack of a student on a classmate with a signal pistol in the Chelyabinsk region. It was clarified that the attacker broke both his legs when he jumped out of a fourth-floor window. Subsequently, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened criminal cases under articles on attempted murder, negligence and the provision of unsafe services. The Prosecutor's Office of the Chelyabinsk region organized an investigation into the incident at the school.
