Police in the Irkutsk region have identified four participants in the incident involving the beating of an 11-year-old schoolgirl, all of whom turned out to be minors, the regional branch of the Russian Interior Ministry reported on March 26.
The schoolgirl was taken to the hospital with injuries on March 23. An operational group of investigators immediately went to the scene.
"The police found out that four teenagers came to the victim's home and inflicted bodily injuries on her as a result of the quarrel. At the same time, they filmed everything that was happening on video," the department's Telegram channel says.
The participants in the incident were three girls and a boy from 12 to 17 years old. They were taken to the juvenile affairs unit for questioning. Administrative protocols have been drawn up against their parents under Part 1 of Article 5.35 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation ("Improper performance of parental duties"). An inspection is underway.
Also on March 16, it was reported that a teenager was injured as a result of a conflict with a peer near a shopping center in Odintsovo, Moscow region. A local resident filed a complaint about the beating of his son, born in 2011, to the duty station of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The identity of the offender and all participants in the incident are being established.
