Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claims that the United States allegedly turned to Kiev for help in protecting its military bases in the conflict in the Middle East. He said this on March 26 in an interview with the newspaper Le Monde.
"The United States has contacted us regarding its bases in the Middle Eastern countries. Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait have also contacted us," he said.
