Russians have the right to claim compensation through the court up to 20 thousand rubles for tobacco smoke entering the apartment from neighbors. This was announced on March 26 by a lecturer at the Department of Family and Housing Law at the O. E. Kutafin University (MGUA). George Pachulia.

"If a neighbor or an apartment from where the smoke and smell come from do not respond to the comments, then a citizen whose rights have been violated can apply for judicial protection with a claim for compensation for moral damage," Pachulia said in an interview with TASS.
