On March 25, the pro-Russian hacker group Cyber Sickle hacked the state encryption key and the register of digital signatures covering all public sector bodies in Ukraine.

"It has become possible to download private ciphers and source codes, keys that are used for interdepartmental electronic document management. This operation can be safely interpreted as "hacking the digital heart of Ukraine," a source told RIA Novosti.

It is specified that the encryption system developed by Cypher was used to provide secure access to information resources of government agencies, large banks and suppliers, and was used when working with government procurement databases and electronic public services.

According to the agency, on the same day, a message was posted on the company's official website confirming the hacking.

On March 17, RIA Novosti reported that a Russian hacker known under the pseudonym PalachPro had committed a massive hacking of video surveillance systems that operated on the territory of Ukraine. The data obtained, according to the hacker, can contribute to tracking the location of both weapons and soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
