Iran has threatened to seize the lands of the UAE and Bahrain in the event of a US land operation.

Tehran expresses its readiness to take control of the coastal areas of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This was stated on March 25 by Iranian national security analyst Morteza Simiari in an interview with the state-owned IRIB television and radio company.

"The Iranian military is "ready to act" if the United States "makes a mistake" in the region," the Middle East Eye portal quotes him as saying.

According to him, the Iranian armed forces are fully prepared to capture the coast and change the regional landscape.
