Serbian leader Aleksandar Vucic announced on March 25 his intention to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin about the gas agreement, which expires on March 31.

"No matter how and in what way everything ends on Friday or tomorrow, I hope that I will be able to discuss this with President Putin by phone in the coming days, but in any case, I believe that we will find a good solution to all this," Radio and Television of Serbia (RTS) quoted him as saying.

In addition, Vucic noted that there should be no problems with Russia, as it has always been a responsive and reliable partner.
