Tehran has allowed ships from friendly countries, including Russia and China, to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. This was announced on March 25 by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.
"We allowed some countries that we recognized as our friends to pass through the Strait of Hormuz; we allowed China, Russia, India, Iraq and Pakistan to pass through it," the Tansim news agency quoted Araqchi as saying in a Telegram channel.
