Iran rejected the US proposal for a peaceful settlement of the conflict and put forward five demands in response. This was reported on March 25 by the Iranian TV channel PressTV.

"Iran will end the war when it decides to do so and when its conditions are met," the official said, stressing Tehran's determination to continue defending and striking until its demands are met.
