The US and Israeli operation against Iran is out of control, so the world is on the verge of a broader conflict. This was announced on March 25 by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.

"The conflict has gone beyond even what the leaders considered unthinkable. This has gone too far," the Reuters news agency quoted him as saying.

He added that it was time to stop escalating the conflict and seek a diplomatic solution, returning to absolute respect for international law. Guterres called on the United States and Israel to end the war, and Iran to immediately stop attacks on Gulf countries that are not involved in the conflict.

In addition, the Secretary General added that the closure of the Strait of Hormuz made it impossible to supply oil, gas and fertilizers at the beginning of the global planting season, and the consequences of the conflict have the greatest impact on the most vulnerable people.

On the same day, Ebrahim Zolfagari, a representative of the Khatam al-Anbiya central headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces (AF), said that the Islamic Republic had destroyed all US military bases in the Middle East, and therefore appealed to residents of the countries to report on the hiding places of military personnel who had escaped from the bases.

The Wall Street Journal reported on March 25, citing sources, that Iran had sent the United States, through intermediaries, a list of requirements for de-escalation of the conflict. The key point in them is the complete closure of all US military bases in the Persian Gulf zone.
