The owner of a shop in Wales received a letter with £100 and apologies for the theft committed 15 years ago. This was reported by The Sun newspaper on March 25.

"About 15 years ago, as a student, after a night spent drinking alcohol, another person and I came across a temporary PVC banner hanging in your store. For some reason, it seemed funny to take him home," the letter says.

The shopkeeper was amused by the anonymous thief's letter. He posted a photo of the message on social media, saying he would like to know who actually wrote the letter. The only clue was a postmark from West Yorkshire.
