Transfermarkt named Duran the cheapest RPL player

The transfer price of Zenit St. Petersburg football club (FC) forward John Duran decreased by €7 million on March 25, making him the cheapest player in the Russian Premier League (RPL). This is evidenced by the updated data from the Transfermarkt portal.

The Colombian striker joined the blue-white-Blues in the winter transfer window of 2026 on loan from the Saudi club Al-Nasr. At the time of the deal, analysts estimated the player at €32 million, which made him the sole leader of the list of the most expensive RPL players. After adjustment, the cost of Duran is €25 million.

Now the St. Petersburg striker shares the first line of the national ranking with the midfielder of the Moscow "Locomotive" Alexei Batrakov and the captain of "Krasnodar" Eduard Spertsyan.

Next in the list of the cheapest players is Spartak forward Levi Garcia, whose market value decreased by €2.5 million and reached €7.5 million, adds Sport-Express.

Another Zenit newcomer, midfielder John John, who transferred from Brazilian Red Bull Bragantino, showed positive dynamics in the winter period. Its estimated value increased by €5 million and reached €16 million.
