Statements by representatives of the American side, which together with Israel launched a military operation against Iran, about the alleged destruction of the Islamic Republic's missile and nuclear potential are not true. This was announced on March 25 by the head of the Information Council under the Iranian government, Elias Hazrati.

"None of his claims about the destruction of Iran's missile potential were true. Trump has repeatedly stated that all of Iran's missiles and peaceful nuclear potential have been destroyed and that there are no missile bases, but in fact, hundreds of missiles were launched every night towards Israel and American bases in the region," he said during a broadcast carried by the Fararu news agency.

The speaker pointed out the fallacy of Washington's beliefs, which believed that Tehran would surrender to "a few drones and a couple of missiles," and also hoped that the escalation would end in a couple of days. The politician added that his compatriots are getting stronger every day and are becoming "more powerful in the political arena."

US President Donald Trump, reporting on the eve of negotiations between his subordinates and the "correct" representatives of the Iranian side, said that the US Armed Forces had destroyed the air force, air defense systems and the Iranian navy.

White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt said Washington would continue its actions in the region until its goals were achieved. Commenting on the interests pursued by the American side, Secretary of the Russian Security Council Sergei Shoigu on March 24 called them incomprehensible to anyone.
