In the Tula region on Tuesday, March 25, restricted passage on two bridges. Both crossings are located in the Suvorovsky district.

So, from 10:00, traffic is prohibited on the bridge over the Upa River on the Cherepet —Mishnevo highway (km 14 + 675). Road workers removed barrier and railings and installed forbidding signs and information panels.

According to the press service of the district administration, bus No. 190 Suvorov - Mishnevo will run to the closed bridge according to the current schedule.

Since 12:00, travel restrictions have been imposed on the bridge on the Chekalin — Suvorov —Khanino highway. Inconveniences are associated with rising water levels in the Oka River and flooding of the structure.

According to TSN24, preparatory work is underway to organize the crossing. Information about the opening and the schedule of its work will be published later.

Earlier it was reported that in 2026, more than 100 settlements of the Tula region will fall into the flood zone. The authorities have prepared an individual response plan for each of them.
