The "yellow" level of weather danger due to icy conditions will remain in effect in Moscow until Saturday morning. The Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation announced this on Wednesday, March 25.

"The warning period is until 9:00 a.m. on March 28. Ice is expected in some places on the roads at night and in the morning," the Moscow City News agency quotes the message.

A similar warning will be in effect in the Moscow region.

Last night it was coldest in Cherusty, where the thermometer dropped to -4.9 degrees. In the capital, VDNH recorded -0.2, the website says. kp.ru .

Earlier, on March 23, Tatyana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency, said that ice is possible in places at night when the temperature is negative.
