Traffic at the checkpoint in the Khabarovsk Territory will be suspended

In the Khabarovsk Territory, the Pokrovka mixed checkpoint will switch to off-season operation. State control over the passage of individuals, transport and cargo will be suspended on the Chinese side of Zhaohe. The measures will take effect on March 27 and will last until the beginning of the navigation period.

According to IA AmurMedia with reference to Rosgranstroy, 1.3 thousand passenger vehicles and the same number of cargo vehicles passed through Pokrovka during the ice age, and more than 18 thousand passengers were registered. Compared to the same period in 2025, the total capacity of the checkpoint has increased by about 50%.

Earlier, representatives of the tourism industry of Zhaohe County, which borders the southern part of the Khabarovsk Territory, recorded an increase in the number of tourists crossing this border crossing.

At the end of December 2025, the administration of the Ayano-Maysky district of the Khabarovsk Territory and the Dzhugdzhursky State Nature Reserve signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism. The goal is to develop the tourism industry without harming the unique nature of the area and while preserving the natural complexes of the reserve.
