- Tsivilev spoke about applications for fuel supplies to the Russian Federation from most Asian countries.
New applications are currently being received from most Asian countries for Russian energy supplies. This was announced on March 25 by the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Sergey Tsivilev.
"We have many requests from Asian countries to which supplies were sent, chains that were cut off, and we are now actively working to finalize contracts for the supply of energy resources from the Russian Federation," he told TASS reporters.
Tsivilev also said that Russia continues to send humanitarian aid to Cuba, including fuel. He added that energy supply routes are being reviewed due to the crisis in the Middle East. It is specified that the neighboring countries of the Russian Federation are the first in line to receive resources.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko said on March 23 that India and other countries are actively considering the possibility of increasing purchases of Russian oil, which arose due to the lifting of sanctions by US President Donald Trump on oil sales operations.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on March 20 that if alternative markets, which are now in dire need of petroleum products, are "more attractive," Russia will focus on them first.
