The creation of the Russian rating of TV series from Medialogia is an important event, as for the first time an integrated approach was applied to content analysis. Evgeny Mironov, the head of the project development working group, told Izvestia about this on March 25.

"Of course, this is an important event," he stressed.

Mironov noted that many previous studies were focused only on watching or discussing the series or on the demand for content.

"We look at the series comprehensively and analyze the entire funnel from the point of view of each stage," said a Medialogy representative.

On March 24, Medialogia presented on its website a Russian series rating consisting of the 100 most popular projects of the past year. The South Korean thriller "The Squid Game" took the first place with 42,861 points, the second place was taken by the American science fiction series "Stranger Things" (26,572 points), and the third place was taken by the Russian detective "Sled" (20,361 points).

Alexander Kosarim, Content director of the Wink video service, noted in a conversation with Izvestia that the rating of the Medialogia series allows an objective assessment of the popularity of projects among viewers. According to him, large-scale budgets for marketing campaigns of projects sometimes create a false feeling that viewers are actively interested in the content.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
