VTB announced the transfer of half of the loans of the Post Bank's customers

VTB has already transferred half of the loans of retail customers to Postbank as part of the integration of the two banks. This was reported by the VTB press service.

After the assignment, all conditions under the existing loan agreements for borrowers remain unchanged, the financial institution stressed. The transfer is carried out automatically and all technical procedures are performed by banks independently, without the participation of customers.

To continue paying off the loan, borrowers of the Post Bank need to open an account with VTB, the bank said. They will be able to use the issued account not only to make payments on an existing loan, but also to access the entire product line of the new bank, the press service said.

You can open an account in the Postbank application, at any convenient VTB branch, as well as at post offices.

The transfer of loans from retail customers of the Post Bank to VTB started in early March. In total, it is planned to transfer 1.3 million loan agreements. The integration process is expected to be completed in May.
