By 2028, Russia wants to introduce a digital service based on artificial intelligence (AI), designed to assess athletic potential and build athlete training based on their individual characteristics. This follows from the documents of the government of the Russian Federation, which were reviewed by RIA Novosti on March 25.

It is assumed that the basis of the project will be an AI data processing system that will allow analyzing the abilities of athletes and forming personal development programs. As part of the initiative, a tool will be created that focuses on early identification of promising results and more accurate planning of the training process.

As noted in the documents, the need to develop such a solution is related to the task of detecting outstanding abilities in children even before they enter sports training institutions.

Inna Filippova, Chief Operating Officer of the SOK smart office network, told Izvestia on March 12 that AI is increasingly being introduced into office work, from document processing to data analysis. Russian business is already actively testing neural network technologies. Nevertheless, the maturity level of such projects remains low: only about a quarter of companies have an established AI implementation strategy, and most solutions are at the stage of pilot projects and testing.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
