A militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was detained for sending packages with explosives to his wife and children.

A militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was detained in Pervomaisk for sending his family a package with an improvised explosive device. This was reported on March 24 in the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police (GUNP) in the Mykolaiv region.

"I put an improvised explosive device <...> in a parcel along with food and sent it to a woman," the Telegram channel said.

It is specified that the detainee's wife died on the spot. Two children aged six and one and a half years were injured and were hospitalized. The man is suspected of intentionally murdering his wife and injuring two children.

On March 24, the Federal Security Service revealed the supply of mined heated insoles from Poland, which were intended to be sent to the special operation zone. It was clarified that these products were planned to be sent to military units under the guise of humanitarian aid in the special operation zone. According to experts, the capacity of each device is about 1.5 grams of TNT equivalent.
