The Lokomotiv hockey club from Yaroslavl defeated Spartak Moscow in the first match of the first round of the playoffs of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). The match took place on March 24 and ended with a score of 5:3

Alexander Radulov, Georgy Ivanov, Richard Panik, Martin Gernat and Nikita Kiryanov scored for the winning team. Demid Mansurov, Daniil Gutik and German Rubtsov scored goals for the Moscow team.

The next meeting of the series will be held in Yaroslavl on March 26.
