On March 24, mobile operators began restoring Internet service in the central districts of Moscow after security restrictions.

Thus, the mobile Internet has reappeared in the metro stations "Park Kultury", "Oktyabrskaya", "Arbatskaya", "Serpukhovskaya", "Novoslobodskaya", etc. In addition, communications on the outskirts of the city are functioning normally. At the same time, telecom operators began sending out notifications about the restoration of work.

"The mobile Internet in Moscow has been restored — now everything is working as usual," one of the messages says.

On February 20, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law obliging telecom operators to disconnect networks at the request of the FSB in the prescribed cases. Amendments have been made to the law "On Communications" and are aimed at regulating the interaction of operators and special services. Operators will not be held responsible for communication outages if the network outage is related to the FSB requirement.

Later, on March 10, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, responding to a question from Izvestia, said that all Internet outages and restrictions on communications occur strictly in accordance with current legislation.

On March 18, major operators in the Moscow region began notifying customers about restrictions on mobile Internet access for security reasons. It was noted in the SMS newsletters that, with security measures, only sites from the "white list" will work, i.e. services from the registry of the Ministry of Digital Economy that open even in the absence of the Internet. According to the notifications, SMS messages and calls without using messengers continue to work as usual.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
