The producer spoke about the important role of the Russian rating of TV series in the industry.

Without audience interest metrics, such as the Russian Series Rating developed by Medialogia, production studios had to work blindly. Producer Vyacheslav Dusmukhametov told Izvestia about this on March 24.

"[The production studios] worked blindly, or you have a good friend on the platform who "secretly" tells you that everything is fine. And as a rule, it was either "everything is fine," or "everything is very good," or "everything is very, very good," the producer shared.

He clarified that no one had provided truthful information, and it was almost impossible to obtain objective data.

Dusmukhametov recalled that he used to come to the Gorbushka market and see which discs sold the best. That was how the audience's love was measured back then, the producer explained.

"Rating is still the audience's love and the viewer's vote - that's first of all," he stressed.

The Univer project, produced by Dusmukhametov, has entered the top 20 of the Russian series rating. He noted that getting the series into the rating is nice. According to the producer, if people talk about the series, this is the main measure of audience love.

On the same day, Medialogia presented the Russian series rating, the first release of which was the top 100 most popular projects of 2025. The scoring methodology takes into account 19 different parameters. The system analyzes not only search queries, but also the actual viewing time on TV and online platforms, as well as the discussion activity in social networks.

Vladislav Stratonnikov, the company's product development manager, said at the same time that Medialogia was working at the intersection of information technology and communications, monitoring more than 100,000 media outlets and more than 3 billion social media accounts daily and around the clock.
